1920年代左右,東京橫濱的「木村珈琲」來到了東部成立「東臺湾珈琲産業株式会社」,自此開啟了電光珈琲的「黑歷史」。

近年來,珈琲日益興盛,在台灣的街頭巷尾隨處皆可見到林立的咖啡廳,連路邊的便利商店也搶攻了這個飲品市場,電光珈琲也不例外;喝珈琲雖然簡單,但必須經過採收、發酵、烘乾、去殼、烘焙、萃取等以上這些繁複的工序,才能得到一杯美味的珈琲,就讓小老闆來為各位講述電光的「黑歷史」以及如何萃取一杯美味珈琲吧!

2050淨零碳排是全球努力方向,台東「日出禾作社」採用關山在地咖啡減少碳足跡,成功獲第三方認證,獲頒全台東首家「零碳商店」,今在眾人見證下沖泡全國首杯「零碳咖啡」。老闆黃瀚說,雖然溯源過程很麻煩,但欣慰自己能為環保盡力,店內採取預約消費,希望電光社區有更多零碳商店加入,活絡經濟促進議題討論。

關山鎮電光里是阿美族聚落,日治時期曾成立「東台灣珈琲產業株式会社」推廣咖啡種植,全盛時期面積多達841公頃,開啟電光咖啡黑色傳說,後因戰爭導致咖啡銷路不佳,農民轉作其他作物。今年33歲的阿美族青年黃瀚在家鄉成立「日出禾作社」,陸續建立咖啡品牌及開店,平日身分多元,既是稻農,也是咖啡農兼老闆。

電光里今年獲得「低碳永續家園」銀級認證,環保局進一步輔導「日出禾作社」邁向零碳商店。透過專業輔導,黃瀚取得BSI英國標準協會ISO 14067碳足跡證書,並向新加坡氣候影響力交易所(Climate Impact X, CIX)購買美國混凝土二氧化碳封存碳權,可年產1300盒(每盒10入)零碳濾袋咖啡。
